Sidney Sheldon’s Reckless

Sidney Sheldon’s Reckless

By: Tilly Bagshawe

NY Times Best Selling author Tilly Bagshawe steps up to the plate when she continues the life and story of the late Sidney Sheldon’s enigmatic character, Tracy Whitney.  To follow renowned author Sidney Sheldon is no easy task,, but to extend the life of one of his most well loved characters is a challenge that I cannot even begin to fathom.  Bagshawe swung for the fences, and expertly knocked this one out of the park.  Sexy, Dangerous and duplicitous, this novel has all the hallmarks of a great international spy drama – but Bagshawe gives readers something different in Sidney Sheldon’s Reckless. She gives readers something more.  Tilly Bagshawe is surely a gifted author.  The reasons for her previous successes all shine through her latest work.  The size and girth of the book make it look like a lengthy read, but once Bagshawe grabs hold of your attention you’ll fly through the 387 pages.

Former hacker and thief, Tracy Whitney, thought she had left every element of her past behind her when she settled on a ranch in colorado.  When one of the leaders of an anonymous new terror group turns violent and shocks the world, it’s Tracy’s name that is dropped.  Not knowing anything about the young and disenfranchised Group 99, Tracy is just as shocked as the rest of the world when they escalate from cyber attacks on the wealthy and corrupt to brutal murder.  The CIA, FBI and MI6 all want to put this to bed as quickly and quietly as possible.  They request that Tracy Whitney help track them down but she refuses to leave her son. When he dies tragically after a mysterious car accident, Tracy has nothing left to lose and throws herself back into her old life, using former contacts and traveling across Europe in search of answers – both trying to stop Group 99 and solve her son’s death.
