Large families generate great stories and good times, even if they ratchet up the drama up a bit – and The Body in the Birches is no different. This great book gathers quite a cast of characters together in a large cottage on the beach that has everything, minus cell phone reception and good cheer. With the passing of the house’s owner, Aunt Priscilla, the family has been summoned from all over the country to determine who will inherit the family gem. When the ensuing gossip and drama escalate into murder the situation goes from annoying, to deadly.
